October Market Stats 2013

Lot and commercial sales soared above residential sales in October 2013. Lot sales were up by 9% and commercial sales were up bY 18% ... while residential property sales were down by 2%. HOWEVER, the volume for all three were down 6%. One bright spot is foreclosure sales have declined since the beginning of the year and are still trending down. September 2013 Outer Banks Market Report

September 2013 MLS Statistical Report Summary – Overall, the statistics for the last several months have shown little change in the sale of listings on the Outer Banks. Residential sales are down by 1% and Lots / Land sales are up by 6%. However, one of the surprising statistics is that Commercial sales are up by 32% for the year.
